Barbie is a holistic health coach who helps women regain balance and thrive, from the inside out.


Hi, I’m Barbie—a holistic health coach, personal trainer, and nutritionist dedicated to helping women feel strong, vibrant, and at home in their bodies. But more importantly, I’m a woman who understands what it’s like to juggle all the roles—mom, partner, business owner—while trying to prioritize my own well-being. I’ve been where you are: exhausted, overwhelmed by conflicting health advice, and frustrated by wellness trends that never seem to stick. Through my own journey, I discovered that true health isn’t about restriction, perfection, or spending hours in the gym—it’s about small, sustainable shifts that honor your body, mind, and lifestyle.

That’s why I created a holistic approach that goes beyond just fitness and nutrition. With over a decade of experience in personal training and a deep-rooted passion for holistic health, I help women like you build strength from the inside out—physically, emotionally, and energetically. Whether you’re here to regain your energy, heal your relationship with food, or create a life that feels AMAZING every day, I want you to know this: you’re not alone, and it’s never too late to reclaim your health. It All Started When I was 14...


My autoimmune symptoms were out of control. My mom and I cried as the doctor told us there was really nothing we could do, that I'd have this condition for the rest of my life and the only way to manage my symptoms was to take 7 different medicines for the rest of my life. But somewhere deep down I knew there was a better way. The doctor shut the door and added one thing before she walked out, she very quietly said, "I shouldn't be telling you this, but the sun can actually help some of your symptoms." So I held on to that hope and thought of the sun (natural sunlight!!!) as a good friend and a super tool in my toolkit from then on. Knowing that my symptoms were better when I got good doses of sunlight (as well as healing salt water from the ocean) I just knew there was more 'ancient wisdom' to uncover that doctors weren't telling us, and maybe didn't even know themselves because they're trained to treat symptoms with prescriptions. 

 

But Then Everything Changed...

Over the next 15 years, I became my very own guinea pig. I did an elimination diet and noted that many processed and packaged products really made my symptoms flare, I felt best on a whole foods diet with minimal artificial ingredients. I learned which ingredients were inflammatory and triggers for me and started scouring labels so I wouldn't wake up in pain the next day. I learned stress was a big trigger. I felt best after vacations and times spent with family and friends, relaxing and lots of time spent in the sun (doesn't everyone?) but I had physical data points that I could measure and know what felt good in my body and what did not. 

I also felt great with movement - as I'd always been active as a dancer growing up, so after working at a desk job on Capitol Hill while simultaneously cheering for the Washington Redskins, I got certified as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor and found myself day dreaming of workouts and programming for clients while at my desk. I followed that desire to help people through fitness, and took the risk of starting my own personal training business and haven't looked back. I LOVE helping people reach their fitness goals but I found myself having the same conversations over and over again with clients about what else they can do in other areas of their lives to live healthier and make even greater progress. That's when I realized, everyone can benefit from living a more holistic lifestyle: we're not JUST our daily movement, we're not JUST what we eat and we're not JUST our sleep quality - we're all of these things and more that make our health great, poor or mediocre. 

Looking back, I can see how every challenge, every setback, and every breakthrough shaped the way I approach health today.

 I remember feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, and frustrated—wanting to feel strong, energized, and at home in my body again, but not knowing where to start.

Through years of learning, trial and error, and finally discovering what actually works—not just quick fixes, but sustainable, life-giving habits—I found my way. And now, my mission is to help other women do the same, but without the confusion, frustration, and wasted time I went through.

That’s exactly why I created this program—because I know firsthand that you don’t need more conflicting information or another short-term plan. You need real, lasting change that fits into your life. A holistic, step-by-step approach that makes it simple and sustainable. And most importantly, a supportive community to walk this journey with you.
